RE: Let's talk about 3Speak

in #3speak4 months ago

@starkerz I understand it's not the best thing seeing someone talking about issues of your project, I really understand, but I'm not a journalist and as you know in the news world there are strange things, questions pre determined, answers truncated and manipulated, etc, etc, etc.
Here we are better than that, I've talked about the issues and made questions, you have the opportunity to reply in front of all without answers manipulated, take out of contest, etc. It's you that produce the answers and not me that present them to "my audience". Like that you can dismantle the false image that I created, if I created any.

Sort:

The world doesnt work like that. you should give a chance to respond before reporting.

My bad! Let's move on then. You have the opportunity to respond here now.
Or better, make a post explaining how things are working, what doesn't work like you would like, what must be fixed, what are you doing to improve user experience.
Let's talk openly and without fears. People tend to understand the issues when they are explained. There's no reason to hide things. I didn't saw a post reporting the last 2 days offline but maybe I was distracted, did you made any report?
Once again, do you realize that there are some people that give up on 3Speak due the upload/encoding problems? Don't you think it was nice to give and highlight to those?

I dont hide anything. I have nothing to hide. Im not sure what you are implying here. We do an open podcast every week called CTT and we just held our public call in our discord.

That is the best place to hold us to account. All of the devs are there and you can ask them questions directly, live on the call. its in 3Speak discord at 9am PST every Thursday.

I know people have given up due to encoder issues. but unfortunately, Hive needs a BTC bridge more than it needs uploads, and no one else seems interested to help build it or even recognize the problem, so my resources are allocated there at the moment.

Fair enough and understandable, at least at concerns to me. I'm completely satisfied with your explanation now.
I will say even more (my opinion) better focus in one project than disperse energies in multiple and leave everything at middle. All success to VSC!
We could have saved a lot of sentences if you had given you that answer right away lol

All the best!

We could also have saved a lot of sentences had u come to me first before publishing. At least These comments will speak for themselves.

Yeah they will be forever on the Blockchain and everyone can see them. It's the beauty of Blockchains.
Unlike my DM conversations, they also stay forever on Dm's ;)
