Wine from aronia
Ingredients
- 5 kg of black chokeberry;
- 800 g of sugar;
- 1 liter of water.
##Preparation
Put the unwashed berries in a pan and remember them with your hands or grind with a submerged blender . Pour 600 g of sugar and mix.
Cover the pan with gauze, folded in several layers, and leave in a warm dark place for a week. Mix the contents of the pan daily so that mold does not form.
Strain the future wine, squeeze out the thick. Squeeze still useful: add to them 200 g of sugar and water and leave it under gauze for a week.
Pour the strained liquid into the bottle and close it with a water seal. You can buy it on AliExpress or do it yourself. Close the bottle with a lid, make a hole in it and insert a thin tube without touching the wine. In order to prevent air from entering the bottle, cling plasticine around the place where the tube enters. The other end of the tube is lowered into a container with water.
Leave in a warm dark place for 2 months. A week after the start of fermentation, strain the squeezes and add the liquid to the bottle.
Within two months the wine will need to be rid of the sediment three times, that is, pour it through a tube into another vessel.
Pour the finished wine in bottles and close tightly. You can drink it right away, but it's better to let it brew for at least a couple more months.
