Today I'll present a quick and easy recipe that will let you prepare a delicious appetizer and is perfect both for a buffet or to start a dinner, or to be eaten as a dessert: fried ricotta.
Ingredients
- 500gr ricotta, better if it's a sheep's ricotta and quite compact
- 2 eggs
- wheat flour
- oil suitable for frying
Directions
- Cut the ricotta into slices about half a centimeter thick.
- Pass each slice first into the flour, then into the beaten egg to which you have added a pinch of salt.
- Fry by browning the slices on both sides.
- Place them on straw paper, arrange on a hot dish and sprinkle with a little salt if you eat them as an appetizer, with granulated sugar (in this case should be served hot) if you prefer as a dessert.
