DCity Prez

My plan as dcity prez is very simple. Let's reduce supply of 1st edition cards, and decrease some taxes as well.

Trying for 90% max tax. My goal is to target about 90% tax. Right now we are at 109%. I'll turn off all taxes that are under my control, and use just basic tax to help keep the taxes around 90%. If income tax starts falling and I can have basic tax off and start turning on other taxes I will, favoring war tax over the rest. But until income tax is below 50%, no taxes but basic tax will be used.

I'll also use all of my presidential salary to buy 1st edition cards off the market and burn them. This will increase their value by reducing supply where demand should hopefully remain about the same, and cause those who want to buy will have to spend higher amounts of SIM to buy such cards, meaning that more sim will be moving around.

Having a healthy market is important and this should promote that.

While there's only 3 days left to vote, I'll reregister next round to see if you guys like it. And if the income tax start getting lower to where enabling other taxes is possible, I'll enable one of my programs which will allow you the user to start setting taxes. Yup, you read that right. You guys might potentially be able to set the taxes that you want to see. It will be based off either burning NFTs or some sort of bidding system with SIM, IDK what I want to do yet. Enjoy DCITY.

TLDR: Lower taxes for now, and use my presidential income to buy up 1st edition cards off market and burn them.

You will win easily... I am occasionally buying 1st edition cards too... but I keep them forever! AHAHAH! Never expect me to sell any 1st edition cards... I have actually didn't sell any in a very long time... Keeping lots of NFT's just for myself. 😈

People forget this is a game... sellers ignore the potential strategy ANY card has on top of what they think they do with buy/sell trading.

Interesting plan

YOU HAVE MY VOTE :D

Everything sounds very good, what I do not like is when you say that you will favor the war tax over the rest, since with this you will favor those who have more, to the detriment of those who have less.

Yup, it will benefit those with war shares. Nothing wrong with that, every tax favors some group who own a particular set of cards, and I just like the way war tax works. I don't see the price going to a point to have 50% income taxes soon so it most likely wont' be activated at all. Just gotta wait and see.

Just think for a moment, checking the market, the last sale price of the military complex was 16900 SIN. Now those who do not have that purchasing power would benefit. In the end they are driving them away and discouraging them. You must take accounts in how many hands are those military complexes (I assure you that in very few) and basically By activating other taxes along with the war tax, you only benefit those who have the most. In other words, you take them all away but you return them to them in the alley. And the idea is to benefit as many as possible. Be careful, this problem is not current, but a balance must be found. Still Vote for you, for your new ideas.
