Wow! I must say when dlike.io started out, a subcommunity within the steem blockchain, we were the underdogs, seriously misunderstood, somewhat udervalued and that's just to say the least.

However, perfection is overrated and well that's just our middle name.

Is Dlike worth the hype?

One good reason why dlike has been able to distinguish itself from the naysers and those who misunderstood what dlike was all about was because dlike was just too easy to understand.

That is a really good thing, but what is dlike? Dlike is a sharing community built on the steem blockchain with a reddit/pinterest styled approach, only this time, it is on the steem blockchain.

Imagine a three second transactionless blockchain powered reddit/pinterest styled community? Amazing yeah? Now imagine better, imagine taking that concept and making it a whole lot better. Microblogging (a form of blogging), just got a whole credibility boost.

For those who think that the dlike platform is just another "pump and dump project", think again. Dlike had been in existence since almost a year (May 2018) and in that time, it has broken and shattered expectiations.

What's new

• First of all, a quick preview of the new and improved site will reveal not just a beautiful interface, but an easy to use and more responsive site.

• Secondly, the new wallet feature being introduced will be mind blowing and simply a major upgrade.

• Thirdly, speaking about wallets, dlike is also an SMT (Smart Media Token) project which is issuing out tokens known as dlike tokens to the members of its community.

• Speaking more on the tokens, we have an Initial Exchange Offering also coming sooner than people expect, meaning the dlike tokens will also have real life value.
  
  Before I forget this part, have you seen the dlike app? (Yes we have a mobile app), only a few SMT projects in general have mobile applications and dlike is one of them.
