This is another instrumental I've withheld from sharing, simply because I've felt it was incomplete without lyrics - and not the highest quality of my work.
Nonetheless, it's done little good sitting on my hard drive with no one listening to it.
Imperfect as it may be, it wasn't created to collect digital dust. And regardless of how it may have not lived up to my ideal for what it could have been, perhaps there's still something within it that may be of inspiration to some listener out there in the Steemitsphere.

This one gnaws at the perfectionist in me.
Without question, it is still a work in progress - not only lacking a vocalist (who at one point, I envisioned as Katy Perry possible suiting it best), but really being demo-quality, not at all the final engineering job I'd felt it needed to truly bring the song to life.
Regardless.
I personally might not love it as much as others in the vault. Yet, that doesn't mean it's not good, or one of you listening to it might not care about the fine details setting off my OCD triggers and love it simply for what it is.
Granted, there was love poured into this, and it's something of an emotional journey.
So...
It's my hope that you'll find some enjoyment in this listening experience.

Adding to my daily meditation list drums go well with piano but don't hit to hard to shake the cool off of it. The beach gives it the harmony like a soft rock/symphony feel nice m8

I'd like to hear more of your work, @rok-sivante, as I share your estimation of this piece. I kept expecting it to go somewhere it didn't... As a fellow creative type, I'm a poet, I've learned to trust my judgement about a piece of art. If it feels incomplete, I might set it aside, until I'm ready to revisit it, or abandon it, altogether, in favor of creating new work.

Goethe, I believe, worked on Faust for decades... picked it up and abandoned it... Rilke on his Elegies, also, for incredibly long. There's a reason both of these works are masterpieces and the men who produced them are perceived as immortal masters. We steal from ourselves when we pick fruit from our garden that has not yet ripened...

I thought it sounded pretty damn good. It had kind of a Phillip Phillips vibe to it.
Although, since you spent most of the post talking about how not-great it was, the whole time my brain kept straining to agree with you and looking for things that sucked about it.
A good rule for life- Never point out a negative. If you say your work is great, people will probably believe you. If you tell them it sucks, they will probably believe you.

It sounds good. It is calming; like a good soundtrack to an awesome movie as the credits roll by. I had to listen on repeat. I don't know why I can't log into dsound with my posting keys. Thank goodness you can listen to songs there without having to log in. I love instrumental as I could listen without distraction. Now I want to get this one on my list.

I don't know about logging in, but I've had trouble uploading with both Safari and Chrome - finally got working with Firefox. I dunno if the browser would make a difference logging in...
I use chrome but I just logged into Firefox and I was able to log in. I think there's a bug with Chrome users. Thanks for the update.

I’m not a music lover,but if I am it is because I like but music and not the artist. Whoever sings it does not matter in the sense that it doesn’t have to be an A-lister, as long as the music and lyrics are great. However, an A-lister is chosen because of his or her reputation, and the composer believes that an A-lister has a greater chance of popularizing the song.
Having said that, some risks are worth taking. Remember authors of Harry Potter and Lord of the Ring!
There are talents to be discovered, that are outside of the box!
