RE: Introducing the EOS Blog on Steemit

in #eos7 years ago

Opening up the point of the pyramid can be thought of as decentralizing power.

This shape is also the underlying geometric structure of the human heart; EOS is a blockchain with a heart.

sounds interesting for sure.

Dan, if you had to sum up EOS in one sentence for a newbie, what would you say?

EOS is the blockchain for building commercial scale decentralized applications that are indistinguishable from centralized alternatives.

can it do side chains?

Yes

Is the smart contract programming language Turing complete?

Yes, though it is given limited execution time before it is killed.

I think I know what EOS is about now from your posts which hint at it (decentralization).I look forward to the crowdsale.

Please how do I purchase eos

Will there be any bonus EOS shares giveaway for Steem users, like it had been done during Golos crowdsale?

He mentioned last time that there will be no sharedrop.

i thought that was exactly what bitshares graphene was.

Technologically, Bitshares is said to be better than Ethereum.
Now, EOS is to be better than Ethereum.
What now of Bitshares and EOS, which is better?

Now I like the sound of this!

Hi Dan, sounds like a cool project. Unique paralyzable commercial scale dapps platform with an abundance of capacity.

EOS is programming and scheduling like a simple computer on blockchain. It means more dynamic changing blockchains.. EOS allows for more frequent and less expensive transactions with quick conformations (like voting).

This makes it easier for designers to do something then set it free to live on the blockchain. Free market forces help make inventions that are free for everyone, but do your homework and keep the bar high ..

Dan is really into decentralized governance which we need to save the word (seriously governments are falling apart everywhere). Governance is a word I'm having to give new meaning too just so I can say that word!! Lol This will be interesting...

EOS sounds awesome, but I would really like to learn more about governance applications and models. For example, here in Cincinnati, we really need a new high traffic bridge. It isn't getting done. I'm sure it is too early for crypto solution quite yet, but what an opportunity to out compete that old dinosaur with voluntary solutions.

I know there must be a way to build a system(s) to fund, source and manage this sort of project, but I certainly don't have the mental bandwidth to put the pieces together.

I'm anxious to see some of these things start to materialize.

I am sold.

Lol, blockchain with a heart...
Sounds so cute and cuddly
I want some
