I finally gave in and let the kids download Minecraft on the iPad:
I have been holding out, but my kids are great kids - well behaved, respectful, and kind - and they have been asking to get it for a while as many of their friends play the game.
My son was leading the charge - normally he would play a hockey or baseball game on the iPad, but Minecraft is right up his alley as he enjoys creating city’s with lego - this is a virtual way to do essentially that and add in some other games.
So I gave in..
Time on the iPad is pretty restricted still, and its good to find a balance in many things, so hopefully they can understand that better when having this but still spending most of their time outside or playing with non-device things.

I respect your decision, but here I want to say, it will waste their time a lot. My little cousin get habitual of playing minecraft and now he is wasting a lot of his time.

I would also not want kids to spend much time with electronic devices.
Depends on the age, i mean under a ceetain age i would not let kid play games at all ... Sooner or later they will ask for fortnite too 😂
A few years ago my kids got me Minecraft so they can invite me to participate in building a world as family time together. Now, it's something called deep Rock Galactic, sort of a Mining game as Space Dwarves vs giant alien bugs.
Minecraft has been the most popular game for kids for a long time. I think it is better than Fortnite, and the way it works with their creativity is nice.
I really think that you made the right choice at the end of the day to eventually allow your kids to download Minecraft

Kids love this game very much and they download it in every mobile they get now.
Children do this all the time but you can read something for them like computer in which you can play according to an amazing game.
