'Castle On a Hill'
Recently I've published a small scale model of castle Karlštejn. This is the real castle. I mean the front walls. Walking by the old stone walls felt as if I went to the past for a little while. I let my imagination run wherever it wanted. Knights and maidens were walking the path with me, horses were neighing as gold rattled from thick old wooden boxes. Then an interesting thought came to my mind. The sun that shines on me today is the same sun it shone upon them centuries ago. Transiency of human life and the relative eternity of sunshine made me feel humble.

So poetic your review of these photos, @velimir! The images are really impressive, they catch the strong and the magnificent of the fortress. The fact that you have taken most of the photos in contrast gives us the idea of human smallness and the greatness of the castle. And yes, it is the same sky, the same sun and the same moon that accompanies us. Nice Tuesday.
I must say this is a very impressive castle with many stories to tell to those with contemplative mind! This old spirits of the past must have given you a gentle tap to let you know that time is different in another dimension. You mind must have touched on the other side to see the same sun as they did!

They are awesome photographs, I loved them. The perspective allows us to enjoy the majesty of this castle. How much history will keep those stone walls so well preserved. Time has passed and they are still witnesses of that. Congratulations, @velimir
