Catrina inspired makeup 2

Hola queridos amigos, hoy quiero participar nuevamente en la iniciativa de esta semana en la que invite a crear un maquillaje de catrina, realmente no me sentía muy satisfecha con el anterior que hice, les juro que sentía que estaba raro, así que hoy me di la tarea de hacer las cosas mas elaboradas y con mucha calma, quería algo bastante colorido y a la vez siniestro, las catrinas son bastante llamativas y coloridas así que eso debía resaltar esta vez, use muchos colores que nunca suelo utilizar de mis paletas de body Paint, eso me animo muchísimo ya que siempre suelo usar los mismos y dibuje diferentes detalles como flores y puntitos esto hacia resaltar todo muchísimo mas, aunque fue un trabajo de horas y muy duro les juro que lo disfrute bastante.

Hello dear friends, today I want to participate again in this week's initiative in which I invite you to create a catrina makeup, I really didn't feel very satisfied with the previous one I did, I swear I felt it was weird, so today I gave the challenge of making things more elaborate and very calm, I wanted something quite colorful and at the same time sinister, Catrinas are quite striking and colorful so that should stand out this time, I used many colors that I never usually use from my body paint palettes , that encouraged me a lot since I always use the same ones and draw different details such as flowers and dots, this made everything stand out much more, although it was a work of hours and very hard I swear I enjoyed it a lot.

Proceso/Process

Comencé mi maquillaje cubriendo mis cejas para pintar libremente sobre ellas, así que utilizando pegamento en barra y agregando unas 6 capas logre aplanarlas por completo, selle con polvo traslucido y con un lápiz negro empecé a trazar lo que seria el boceto de mi maquillaje, como estos lentes de contacto que use no son formulados, me puse mis lentes y empecé a pintar mi pecho primero jajaja, no hice gran cosa en el pecho ya que lo llamativo estaría en mi rostro, pinte solamente de negro y una especie de hueso usando rosado y rojo.

I started my makeup by covering my eyebrows to paint freely on them, so using a glue stick and adding about 6 layers I managed to flatten them completely, sealed with translucent powder and with a black pencil I began to draw what would be the sketch of my makeup, like these contacts that I use are not formulated, I put my glasses on and started painting my chest first hahaha, I did not do much on the chest since the striking thing would be on my face, I only painted black and a kind of bone using pink and red.

Normalmente empezaría pintando con colores claros, pero esta vez quería comenzar con el color negro, asi que rellene todas estas partes que llevaban negro y asi ver mejor la forma que le estaba dando a este maquillaje, luego comencé a pintar mi frente usando primero naranja, luego morado y después amarillo, termine de rellenar mis ojos con negro al igual que la nariz, alrededor de la cuenca de los ojos aplique mas colores, verde neón, naranja y rojo, selle la pintura de la frente con polvo traslucido para seguir pintando y que no se mezclaran los colores, ya que estaba usando pintura corporal a base de aceite y esta es un poco complicada de trabajarla.

Normally I would start painting with light colors, but this time I wanted to start with black, so I filled in all these parts that had black so I could better see the shape I was giving this makeup, then I started painting my forehead using orange first, then purple and then yellow, finish filling my eyes with black as well as the nose, around the eye socket apply more colors, neon green, orange and red, seal the forehead paint with translucent powder to continue painting and that the colors wouldn't mix, as I was using oil based body paint and this is a bit tricky to work with.

Sigo pintando mi rostro variando los colores, hasta rellenarla por completo, selle con polvo traslucido para comenzar a dibujar las formas de puntos y flores, para esto use pinturas corporales a base de agua ya que las de aceite serian mas complicadas de aplicar encima de esto.

I continue painting my face varying the colors, until I fill it completely, seal it with translucent powder to start drawing the shapes of dots and flowers, for this I use water-based body paints since the oil ones would be more complicated to apply on top of this.

Variando de colores y formas realice este diseño en todo mi rostro aplicando puntitos, algunas líneas curvas y pequeñas florecitas, para los dientes aplique pintura dorada, creo que resaltaba muchísimo con ese color, finalmente aplique pestañas postizas y agregue una pequeña separación en el cuello donde había dibujado el “hueso”

Varying colors and shapes, I made this design all over my face applying dots, some curved lines and small flowers, for the teeth I applied gold paint, I think it stood out a lot with that color, finally I applied false eyelashes and added a small separation on the neck where I had drawn the “bone”.

Final

Para las fotos use una “capa” que en realidad es un suéter muy grande que tengo intente que no se notase mucho que era un suéter jaja, en una de las fotos use papel celofán rojo, realmente fue por experimentar pero me gustó mucho esa fotografía, estoy muy contenta con el resultado, en casa mi familia quedo sorprendida y yo me divertí muchísimo y siento que esta catrina si me gusto mil veces mas que la anterior.

For the photos I used a "cape" that is actually a very large sweater that I have, I tried not to notice that it was a sweater haha, in one of the photos I used red cellophane, it was really to experiment but I really liked that photo , I am very happy with the result, at home my family was surprised and I had a lot of fun and I feel that I liked this catrina a thousand times more than the previous one.
