I was curious what the state of curation groups was so I took a look at their stats and put them all together in one post. With nine of them to go over looks like there is a strong group of Hive users always looking for good content.
Please note I compiled the HP staked amount a couple weeks ago, so it may be off slightly by now.
Below is a list of some of my most known curation groups:
7,314,044 HP
OCD
This group has been around for a long time, back before Hive was even a thing.
Also runs Hive gaming and Holozing curation groups
https://peakd.com/@appreciator
11,755,857 HP
Appreciator
This group looks for good content as well, they have been around since before Hive as well.
2,375,862 HP
Curangel
Some of these groups you can delegate HP to and get paid in rewards for it.
978,478 HP
Tipu
Delegation 10% APR is offered for this one.
https://peakd.com/@minnowsupport
184,661 HP
Minnow Support group
As the name suggests, they only upvote redfish and minnows. No dolphins or above.
https://peakd.com/@discovery-it
discovery-it
126,023 HP
This group looks for science and other specific topics for curation.
The following curation accounts focus on dapps in their relative communities.
https://peakd.com/@threespeakvoter
574,163 HP
3speakvoter
They focus on upvoting video posts based on the 3speaknetwork.
https://peakd.com/@steemmonsters
1,106,482 HP
steemmonsters
Posts made in the Splinterlands community or using tags for the game may be curated by this account.
https://peakd.com/@splinterboost
100,148 HP
splinterboost
Another curation group that focuses on Splinterlands content.
Those are the nine I have to discuss today, please vote for your favorites and list in the comments any I missed. Or if you have any questions and comments about the groups.
I'm surprised you put splinterboost in there with the rest of the credible curation guilds. It just votes for all rubbish as when the author calls the bot
I concur
Oh I was not aware about their history, I was hoping to have a few Splinterlands curation groups in this post and added them because the are one of the few others I know of. Thanks for letting me know.
I get support from some of them, but I'd really prefer to see people using their own HP. They could follow trails for that. These big groups have too much power and some of them seem to get abused with the owners not really caring.
Indeed over time I hope we move to a much more decentralized curation system when we have many more users.
@curie? @qurator?
damn, good ones.. Will mention them next time.
😍
Do you know about the curation from @worldmappin for travel posts?
The is even a curation reward programm ongoing.
Does this fit into your overview?
Anyway, thaks for report.
Exactly. We do curation every day 😎 - Let us know if you have any questions.
Oh yes, thanks for mentioning. I have enough suggestions to do a whole other showcase of curation groups now.
Cheers and thanks
Ah yeah I know about her, but in this post I am just talking about curation groups, not individuals.
@qurator and @ecency 😎
Damn, I completely forgot about them.
that's ok you are just getting old , and start to forget things , i've been there too now i'm at the stage that i forget what i had forgotten . 😂😂😜😜😎🍺

Mi selección siempre va a ser appreciator, OCD, curangel, Splinterlands, zingtoken, chessbrothers, ecency, Liotes y otras que alguna vez me votan pero muy poco.
Solo Vote por 4 opción. Saludos @solominer 🤝😉
Ah nice, thanks for voting.
🤝😉
Splinterlands posts are well curated. I haven't written there for 2 years. I play Splinterlands, but I keep putting off writing a post. Maybe I'll write my thoughts after 18 years, like I did today :)
Indeed I have not posted much Spinterlands content in awhile as well. But seem they are a big curation group.
@ocd , @curangel , @ecency
the poll, doesn´t allow to vote
Try Peakd
@ecency and @qurator for others
Nice, good suggestions.
I was able to vote on PeakD and not on my default front end Ecency, which is another great curator that is not on this list :)
Ah yeah peakd does the polls.
Indeed thanks for mentioning, I completely forgot about them at the time of writing this post.
No @curie?
Damn I forgot about them as well. I will need to do a follow up post in the future and include them.
I think groups like this are a real benefit to the platform. I wish there were more of them so more of the really great quality posts could get the attention they deserve.
Indeed they can really help get a post to trending so even more people notice it.
I think we will see more as the community grows.
I think that would be good. I tends to be a lot of the same people (myself included),
Listo. 5 votos. Considerando lo mejor que tienes en la lista
thanks for voting
$WINE
good luck everyone
@ecency @qurator and @stemsocial for others
oh yeah there is a stem curation group too.. need to see how active they still are.
@ocdb My favorite, he does an excellent job, he is great at supporting new entrants
@lazy-panda 🐼
In addition to @qurator and @curie, already mentioned, @hive-br is missing. They do a remarkable job of promoting Portuguese-language publications.
In the group presented, I would highlight the work of @ocd (and @ocdb), especially for the user retention initiative.
✌️
Besides @ocd, @appreciator, and @curangel as my favorites, I think @ecency has always been present in my growth. I also have a lot to thank @hivecuba for, as they never abandon me.
