Greetings to the entire #hiveopenmic community. I hope you had a nice week. Our musician friends shared a lot of great music this week, and I listened with pleasure. The theme we need to focus on this week is “Prejudice”. I was glad to see this, because we may all be prejudiced in some matters throughout our lives. In fact, there have always been prejudices against other countries-beliefs-people in the history of all of us, and perhaps always will. It is difficult to break the prejudices in our minds and it always requires correct thinking. For this reason, a person should first criticize himself, question whether he is wrong, and do his best to destroy the prejudices in his mind. Sometimes these prejudiced behaviors can lead to a behavior or reaction that will harm whatever the other person is. I think it is up to us to prevent this and to mature ourselves. Because mental maturity makes people free from their prejudices.

Bu hafta üzerinde durmamız gereken tema “Ön yargı”. Bunu gördüğümde sevindim, çünkü hayat boyu hepimiz bazı konularda ön yargılı davranmış olabiliriz. Hatta hepimizin tarihinde diğer ülke-inançlar-insanlara karşı ön yargılar hep olmuştur ve belki de her zaman olmaya devam edecektir. Kafamızdaki ön yargıları kırmak zordur ve hep doğru düşünmeyi gerektirir. Onun için kişi önce kendini eleştirmeli, hatası olup olmadığını sorgulamalı, kafasındaki ön yargıları yıkmak için elinden geleni yapmalıdır. Bazen bu ön yargılı davranışlar karşıdaki her neyse ona zarar verecek bir davranışa veya tepkiye yol açabilir. Bunun önüne geçmek ve kendimizi de olgunlaştırmak bizim elimizdedir diye düşünüyorum. Çünkü zihinsel olgunluk insanları ön yargılarından arındırılmış duruma getirir. 

There is a word called "Zahid" in Anatolia. Zahid; He is a person who worships for the Hereafter, strictly adheres to the rules of Sharia, uncompromising, prescriptive and religious. The name of the work I prepared for you this week is "O Zahid". This poem was written by Edib Harabi. In this poem, Harabi, who is a lover of God, addressed him in this way because he thought that the correctness of his worship and belief was not understood by him (zahid), he thought that he approached other beliefs-people with prejudice and thought that he was performing formal worship. I will write the meaning of some words in the poem so that you can better understand it. Because it is not possible for me to translate the whole poem for you without spoiling its meaning.

Anadolu’da “Zahid” diye bir kelime vardır. Zahid; ahiret için ibadet yapan, şeriat kurallarına sıkı sıkıya bağlı, ödünsüz, kuralcı, dindar kişidir. Bu hafta sizin için hazırladığım eserin adı “Ey Zahid”. Bu  şiir Edib Harabi tarafından yazılmıştır. Tanrı aşığı olan Harabi bu şiirinde, kendisinin yaptığı ibadet şeklinin ve inancının doğruluğunun onun (zahid) tarafından anlaşılmadığını düşündüğü, diğer inançlara-kişilere ön yargı ile yaklaştığını düşündüğü ve şekilci ibadet yaptığını düşündüğü için ona bu şekilde hitap etmiştir. Şiirde geçen bazı kelimelerin anlamını sizlerin daha iyi anlayabilmesi için yazacağım. Çünkü şiirin tamamını sizler için anlamını bozmadan çevirebilmem pek mümkün değil.

Settar: Tanrı’nın isimlerinden birisidir. Günahları ve kusurları örten - Kulunun günahlarını diğer insanlardan gizleyen demektir.

İnayet: İyilik. Tanrının bilgisi ve takdirinin kainatın varlığı ve iyiliği için kullanması amacıyla kişide tecelli etmesidir.

Goodness. It is the manifestation of God's knowledge and discretion in the person for the purpose of using it for the existence and goodness of the universe.

Rebap: Davud peygamberin çaldığı bilinen ve her yönüyle bağlamaya benzeyen enstrüman.

An instrument that is known to be played by the prophet David and resembles the baglama in every way.

Kalu Bela (Elest Bezmi): Bütün insanlar kendi iradeleri olan bireyler olarak Kalu Bela (Elest Bezmi) denilen uhrevi yerde bir araya toplanmıştır. Herkese kendi nefsi şahit tutulmuş ve tanrının rububiyeti konusunda herkesten ikrar (söz) alınmıştır. Bunun nedeni kıyamet gününde herhangi bir bahane ileri sürmemeleri içindir. İnsan, Elest Bezmi’nde tanrıya bir söz vermiştir ve tanrı da bu sözün gereğini insandan isteyecektir.

All people are gathered together in the otherworldly place called Kalu Bela (Elest Bezmi) as individuals with their own will. Everyone's own nafs’s was held as a witness and a confession (word) was taken from everyone about the lordship of God. This is because they do not make any excuses on the Day of Judgment. Man has made a promise to God in the Bezmi of Elest, and God will demand the fulfillment of this promise from man.
