What an enjoyable outing, views far and wide to give one the real feel of the region. Being in forest area with the colour playing with lighting you got some lovely photography there.

Woodpecker you always hear long before you ear trains in to see where they are busy, nice impressive size.

Make me smile, good to recognize the older generation were exceptionally hard working with no mod-cons to distract them....

For those ignorant of Korean culture, the older generation is a hell of a lot tougher than us mascara wearing, K-pop dancing youngers.

Thanks for sharing this hilltop adventure, superb views obtained up there.

I always have a great time when I take walks. It's getting a little too hot now to climb, so I only go out in the evenings and I prefer to stick to the roads after dark.

That's probably one of the larger woodpeckers in Korea. I've seen much larger ones in North America.

Unfortunately, the younger generation isn't the older generation. It makes me worried about the future, but this is probably not a new thought either. People adapt.

Thank you and I hope you have a lovely week!

We still not able to go to parks nor beaches, seeing other regions are always a highlight. Walking after dark has been a problem here for many years I cannot remember when I last went out at night.

When up in the mountains one tends to notice very few of the younger generation take to hiking. For us it was a highlight to go out for day hikes swim in rivers, now relaxing around a pool appears to be more appealing.

Perhaps the stress of modern day living people just prefer to relax where they are, each to their own. Have a terrific weekend, it's Friday!
