Thank you! It's strange how blue the bird looked in the deep shade. Maybe it's a camera issue?
The rock even appears to have a blue cast... No matter what caused it, the bird is gorgeous!
Yes, herons really are beautiful birds. We don't seem to have as many of them this year though.
I hope they all have a successful bunch of fledglings this year!
I've spotted a few up in the treetops. It looks like they can't fly yet.
