A variety of birds that I have in here today and hope that you like them.
First up is a Pied Crow (Corvus albus) that came flying over my attempted landscape photo.
An abundance of birds that I snapped at a local dam in our area and I didn't want to show you only one or two birds.
I believe in doing a job well and when I get plenty then I post them all.
So come and see what I got in an hour's time at the dam.
Three flying European Starlings (Sturnus vulgaris).

And here's another Starling taking off.
Something different here as this is a Cape Spurfowl (Pternistis capensis)
And here is the Spurfowl's partner.
A family of Guinea fowls was also hanging around (Numida meleagris)
An African Ibis came flying over (Threskiornis aethiopicus).
This guy preening is an African Darter (Anhinga rufa).
And finally I have this lovely little Half-collared Kingfisher (Alcedo semitorquata)
This is the dam where I found the treasure of birds.
It was a great adventure to visit this dam and I am sure that I will get many other birds here in the future. The trick is to visit at different times as quite often the morning birds and the afternoon birds are different. There might even be raptor birds in the high trees at times due to all of the birds here.
I would love to stay in a house that overlooks this dam, but the homes here are way too expensive for us and so we will simply continue to visit the dam occasionally.
That's just the way things are in our lives and we are happy.

I know this place from other posts, and it really looks like a little paradise for nature lovers and for photographers. Unfortunately, such places are too expensive around the world for most of us.

Yes, you saw the place in my previous posts and it is indeed a paradise.
All for free of course, but the expensive part is of course the travel costs to get to the place 😉
Maybe once that you have the van, you can drive to the Suez canal, cross it with the van in a boat and then drive down from the top of the African continent here to the south 🤣 !LOLZ

Travel costs are also the most costs I have - gas has become very expensive and at some places which were free a year ago, they want en entry fee now.
14,000 km and 180 hours via France, Spain, Morocco...
13,500 km and 204 hours via the Suez canal...
... and I don't want to know how many times I would get robbed 😆

Hahaha, you have worked it out spot on and you can put notices on the van in many languages, warning people and robbers that the van is radio-active 😉
Then you will only have to worry about the millions of robbers that can't read 🤣🤣🤣

Ouch! Wrong idea as they will think that you are an alien from space and a horde of them will stone you and feed you to the crocodiles. So you won't have to worry about the heat, as you will not be getting very far 🤣🤣🤣

Or they would think I am somewhat like a God and pray to me ... either way is bad because I wouldn't be able to reach my destination. A god should stay with his believers and take gifts like food and drink and virgins... 😂

Hello @papilloncharity, even at different times of the year you can find different species since many birds are migratory and change places constantly. That landscape is lovely, also the plumage of the guineos is beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Hello @alborhada and you are right. I know that birds migrate and now in our winter only our local birds stay here. Fortunately we have many birds that stay.
