We get lots of geese around here, the bird activity is quite amazing to see. It is probably the most common view throughout the day is seeing all the birds flying around. These geese have landed and are pecking through the grass probably looking for something to eat.

I only noticed them outside because of all the honking.. lol
Quite the large group there, usually we only get a single mating pair hanging around.
They stay on the ground for a good thirty minutes.
I think these are the Canadian geese variety, we do not get the plain white ones as far as I know.
They all start honking again and then decide to take off. Flying off to somewhere else near by. I am sure they will return soon.
They take off all separated, but catch up to each other once in the sky.
It is always cool seeing them all fly by, such big birds.
They keep honking along the way, until they are completely out of view.
It was really cool seeing them, until next time.

I'll have to pull out my phone and grab a photo the next time I'm at the "geese" crossing on the country road I run and hike.
There's a pond off the side of the road, and a few times a day they wander across the road looking for things to forage and peck at. Geese are poop machines.
We had a one car traffic jam the other day as one of the geese wasn't inclined to get out of the road for a car.
Haha yeah seems like ponds attract them. They have ventured onto my porch and did poop all over it.. no fun.
Lol sometimes they are quite cocky

Birds have a lot to tell, especially when they tend to travel in social groups... let's just say that some are more evolved than others, can be monogamous, and fiercely protective of their own species.
Congratulations on the photos...capturing the moment of flight, with their wings spread as they regroup in lines, gives us a very beautiful view.

It is really a great honor to be on hive platform. The things I have envisaged or seen in movies are being shared on this platform. This is super amazing! It feels like I am traveling and exploring the world right from the comfort of my room.
