Hello @wrestlingdesires and rest of the "Feathered Friends" community, Happy New Year!.
For my participation in the 34th edition I leave a summary writing about the four photos.
TITLE: "Birds also use the internet."
The wonderful opportunity that we have today to meet with people from many different parts of the world, through the Internet, is also used by our birds who share from their favorite places to eat, bathe, exercise, see their chicks born and grow.
Thus we see John, the nuthatch who eats alone because he does not want another bird to eat at the same time as him, or because he is embarrassed to be seen eating, thinks there is little food to share, or he simply wants to play at being a cuckoo clock bird.
At the same time we can see Peter, the colorful duck scratching his head and practicing yoga, which keeps his body and mind healthy, while teaching the rest of the birds that share with him in the lake. We can also see several families of Canada geese doing military exercises (the Johnsons, the Parkers, the Bakers and the Wilsons), with stops and marching in an orderly manner as a rehearsal for when a celebration requires their display of great coordination and order.
On the other hand, we have Bruce, the elegant but vain swan, which neither its duck friends nor we simply can stop admiring because from any angle you look at him, exudes beauty and glamour.

Hello, and greetings @wrestlingdesires and friends. Though about the challenge from @umirais to write a small story about photo no. 2 the swan geese and ducks.
It was early spring in the north but still, there was frost chill and cold. In that half-frozen lake, many families lived happily and friendly. Waag the swan family. the Jensen duck family Nielsen the gulls family, and many other families like sparrows and crows living on trees. The Waag family has very good respect from other families because they are very kind and wise. Kari the mamma swan is very active and kind and takes care of everybody. The day starts like other days and everybody started their routines. It was cold but they lived there the whole year so they are more relaxed after the heavy winter.
Early morning Kari woke up and refreshed both ducks couple was still enjoying their bath. Kari just started coming out from the lake she was almost on the bank of the lake and she was surprised😮.
The nice elegant couple walking on the bank of the lake walked like a catwalk, They are geese yes, Barnacle geese from the far north on the island of Spitsbergen. In the winter they had flown to the south and in the early spring, they were headed back to their homeland. Kari had never seen them before since she was living there. She just watched them and carefully observed their activities and she noticed they are many in the flock, some resting some walking some just relaxing. after a little walk they would sat down. Kari's curiosity and northern hospitality brought her to them and she asked about their travels, the geese were very happy to talk with her they told her they were flying from Italy and they are tired and need to rest for some days because they have to fly almost another two thousand kilometers to reach their breeding ground. Kari was very surprised after hearing their story She thought she is very lucky her family doesn't need to do this. they stay the whole year around this lake with enough food water and a place to rest and people don't disturb them too much. some even bring food for them. Very kind and friendly she welcomes them and told them they can enjoy their stopover how long they want they were all welcomed and all families from the lake will be very glad to have them. there is enough food and good places to rest. She called the Nielsen and Jensen families and introduced the geese flock The Jensens happily welcomed them and invited them for an evening gathering. But thr Nielsens weren't pleased to share their food with strangers. but Because of Kari, they behaved like they were happy. The geese' families gladly joined their company and after having a nice stopover they said thanks for Norwegian hospitality and fly on to their distant destination.
Reminds me of Cape Town in 2000.
That was the time it was inexpensive to travel here and all of the global travelers came through.
My brother had an open door policy and boy did we have a good summer... mostly at his home.
You could arrive pretty much any time and there would a bundle of people from all over the planet spread all over the property. From clothing, jewelry and goods manufacturers who traveled the festival circuit around the world to trade goods... to some of the best international DJs.
The music never stopped. The dinner table was long and a busy affair.
It was a good time for all of us. To open the doors and welcome the world in after sanctions and being cut off from everything out here in South Africa for many years.
Your Goose has the best attitude to living well, I think. 👍❤️
