oh! how we miss you Racer!

Long story short, we bought a car last year our very first car, we bought it thanks to Hive actually, yay us! It was an oldie Daewoo Racer from 1987, it was actually my brother-in-law’s car, it was not a bad a car but… it was old and used so, it obviously had its issues, nothing big but one in particular with the acceleration that we couldn’t seem to fix no matter what. So, we were like well we should maybe try and improve and decided we should sell that one to buy a newer one.

OH! THE MISTAKE!!!


The mistake	looks so innocent but looks can be deceiving

Now hear me out, I KNOW, I know, buying a used car comes with the risk of it having issues, like well is normal is a used car, I get it, we know it and we were expecting it, but! We wanted a newer car with an issue more straightforward to fix than the last one.

Our first mistake was to buy a car in another city without actually seeing it first, I asked my sister to go take a look and to actually take it to a mechanic which she did but obviously was not a smart decision.

When we bought it, the mechanic where we took it “fixed” a 300$ problem with the motor that it had (was losing pressure) we ask him to take a good look into it before we could travel back to our house (a 600KM road trip) and to fix any other issues it may had, we took this as part of the price we were paying for itit was sold to us on a discount for the issues it had, so we could invest in fixing them and have a well-functioning car.

DON'T COME AT ME with the whole well you knew it had issues when you bought it, yes, yes, I did! But we expended 300$ FIXING THEM! or so we thought, also we did the trip back to our house and the car worked fine, like a 12hour trip across the country with rain and all.

But what is the issue now?

Well, if someone ever finds out please do tell!

He started losing power to accelerate? I don't know for sure since is my boyfriend who drives, and we call a new mechanic here in our hometown one recommended by a friend, he came and “fixed” the cable that was lose and the car was fine again all for 20$. How long did that last? 1 day, by the next day, the car didn’t start again, my boyfriend though it was a previous issue the car had with the sensor on the ignition that recognizes the keys, he took the computer out and took it to get fixed, how much was that? 50$, did it fix the issue? NO! we had to call the mechanics who worked on the computer to come see what was wrong, the did the diagnostic and told us it was the battery of the pump for the gasoline, my boyfriend bought all the stuff to do the recommended maintenance filters and all, he spend 50$ buying all the stuff including the gasoline pump and all.

DID IT FIX THE ISSUE!?!?!?!?!

Well you will be happy to know, that yes it did, or we were naïve to think it was, cause the stupid car worked fine after that for a whole day! A DAY! So, this Monday when we were ready to take the kid to school, would anyone be nice enough to tell me WHY ON EARTH THE STUPID CAR DIDN’T WANTED TO START?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

My boyfriend called a mechanic friend of his, who came and dedicated himself to take a look at the whole car all morning to try and find the issue, did he find it?! NO?!?! we are by now guessing what the hell cause there are a lot of possibilities, but here is the thing none are for sure.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

All the mechanic who had seen so far the car had done electric scan diagnosis and none have come up with any issues, like 3 scans in a week and none have really say what the hell is wrong with this car.

I'm pretty annoyed and pissed trying to improve our car situation made us fall into a deeper and more expensive black whole of mechanical issues.

I want the stupid bitch of a car to start so I can sell it, I will not keep it, I hate it by now.

Will it get fix?

who knows?!?!?! I have other debts to pay I cant afford to continue to pour money into this stupid car that I hate by now =(
