I think they do yes. I do a lot of curating and come across people all the time, as do others I know. We talk, on or off chain, and all of a sudden someone has a little activity, some more eyes looking. Of course, they need to make the effort too, but if someone posts well it's likely a curator will see it and help promote that user.

To rely on that is filly though, which is your point I think. A user must help draw their own attention for sure. That's what engagement is all about.

Yeh I probably should have expanded a bit, I did mean do people just randomly get discovered by posting into the void (and perhaps at a bare minimum spamming links on Discord) and hoping/expecting that someone else will come along and do the promotion work for them :)

Yes, I realised that after I commented. I'm building Lego and so hadn't come back to amend it. No, you're 100% correct. Void-posting won't get people too far.

Sorry, a little preoccupied at the moment. 🙂

EDIT: Oops...I mean I'm working from home - Doing my day job. 🤣

Damn they keep you busy, have you lost all your Lego building time or are you still able to sneak a bit here and there XD

Fear not Ry, the old G-dog gets his Lego time...

To be honest it's been weeks since I built any and so I took the opportunity today. I'm building the rear trailer for that car carrier truck I posted about before. It'll be nice when finished. Maybe tomorrow afternoon.
