Yesterday morning I couldn't help myself and dug into the concentrate which rather quickly popped out some Sapphires. This was just the beginning as off and on during the day I would stop and pick.
On my way around the farm in the morning I saw the marmot behind the Tardis and after scoping around a bit found its den.
I meant to go set the trap but forgot in the evening. Something for today.
I got a nice pile of beets pulled to make room for the others growing.
Then another pile of squash. Thankfully the cooler is back working right again now.
Our Flycatchers are getting big and the [parents are constantly flying bugs to them.
Barely fitting in the nest together.
Some potatoes are ready in the garden, at least the plants are dead so need to be dug. Got 5 pounds that went to the house.
@stryeyz asked that I put an a/c in the studio so mid day I hauled one down and got it installed. I need to do some insulating to help retain the cool better for sure.
I have a solid setup going on the deck now for washing and sorting the rocks. Finding some seriously nice looking Sapphires.
This was just one, some are over 4 carats.
The classifying setup. Trowel full into the pan, add water and wash, pour into classifier stack, shake through, Check top and middle quickly then bottom screen gets poured to the pie dish and sorted.
Mother son Sapphire searching.
I finally went to the greenhouse and found a nice pair of cucumbers were ready. I have a lot of trimming and tying to do today.
Got out to soak a bit later and ended up getting a really short soak.
Because @stryeyz saw this porcupine lumbering across the yard just below the hot tub. So out I jumped and ran inside to get my headlamp and gloves.
The dude was a full grown adult and had turned around and headed back the way it had come. I really didn't want it on the farm so I ran across and grabbed one of the half barrels.
Dropped the barrel over it then hauled the dolly over and flipped the barrel onto it.
I'm sure people on the highway were rather curious what I was hauling in the barrel but I made it down by the river and the bridge where I tipped the porcupine out and let it lumber off down the hill.
Hopefully it's far enough away it won't come back anytime soon.
Today I have work in the gardens to do, have a water feature repair to attempt for a new client, more sapphires to find, and need to wash my clothes badly after the weekend.
