Rhubarb is just bananas isn't it? Both the rhubarb and my irises are emerging, but I bet they are on standby after the last couple days. Even though it's freezing I am not complaining though because the sun is out! This little slip back into winter brought us some rays at least. It's looking like it's going back into slush above freezing mode next, sigh...
I love the wreath in the last photo, very beautiful! I hope that you have a good season gardening despite, or maybe even because of, the early spring. Earth is changing but maybe it is a time for opportunities as well!
Thank you so much! It's hanging out in the barn from last fall's wreath fest making, and the excess moisture in the air has caused it to mold a bit, but for some reason it makes me think it's even more beautiful lol!

Hopefully one day you can take a trip somewhere and get all the snow feeling you desire! It's pretty great to play in the snow, and the transition from winter to spring is beyond elating:)!
I know about the miles of mud and my driveway will never be paved either though it’s only 1/4 mile long. We always had light and heated water for the birds and they earned their keep most years.
Out here in New England it’s been like spring for well over a week, but we have threats of a snowstorm on Tuesday. I’ve been looking but no sign of new growth here yet.
It cooled back down to 24F here last night, but it was finally clear and beautiful out, it's just been dreary gray for days and days, so I am not complaining lol! Long term it looks like we are in that just over freezing pattern for the days and chilly at night, so maybe that will slow down the emergence of things a bit here.
