This is the fourth time I've had #HiveBloPoMo (Hive Blog Posting Month) and Hive Power Up Day running at the same time, so you'd think I'd be use to the crazy busyness by now. But, NOPE! However, this is different from being overwhelmed with every day stuff to do - I actually really enjoy having Hive stuff going all day, every day. Of course, I say that now - ask me again once our blockchain goes mainstream and a zillion more people are powering up on the first of the month, as well as doing daily blog posts twice a year. 😵😄

And before I get to the final results, a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who contributed to this month's #HivePUD, either through powering up, posting, offering prizes, or spreading the word.

Altogether we had:

• 163 posts on the 1st tagged with #HivePUD and/or #HPUD.
• 150 people who powered up and posted on the 1st using #HivePUD and/or #HPUD, with 92 of those qualifying for prizes.
• 10,340.008 Hive (worth approx $12,511 USD) powered up from Hive Power Up Day participants during the hours of the first via their local time.
• 65,561 Hive (worth approx $79,328.81 USD) powered up by 380 people during the 24 hour UTC time set to earn @hivebuzz badges (check out their Feedback from the April 1st Hive Power Up Day post for more info).

Coming in May 2022

Since the beginning of the year, it seemed that every time I turned around, some awesome person sends me a message, saying they want to contribute to the Power Up Day prize pool. I get the feeling that's going to continue to happen here and there over the next month or two.

Speaking of, the now monthly Hive Power Up Month Challenge by @hivebuzz is still going strong. I managed for the first three months of the year, and I'm hoping I can continue on every month. Be sure to keep an eye on @hivebuzz for information and more awesome initiative like that - follow them (on Hive and on Twitter) so you don't miss out on any announcements (plus, they're wicked cool peeps!).
