ECOTRAIN QOTW SEASON 10.3 - What habits or addictions, both good and bad, have you developed and which you would like to get rid of?

Good day to the Ecotrain community. I trust you all are doing fine?
I really love the question for this week. Human beings that we are tend to have habits we are not comfortable with and I'd like to discuss mine.

One of the habit I will really love to stop is eating late into the night. I am a kind of person that loves eating solid/heavy food and I have discovered that eating very early in the evening does not work for me which is my I take my dinner around 10:00pm at night which I know is a bad habit as eating late into the night will give the body extra work to do when it is supposed to be resting at night.

Another habit of mine that I would like to stop is procrastinating. I am a person who can work under the pressure of deadlines. This unique ability of mine has now made me develop the bad habit of procrastinating till deadlines because I believe I will still be able to meet the deadline. This is a very bad habit and I am working towards getting rid of it.

Lastly, an habit of mine that I would love to stop is being over compassionate. I am so kind and compassionate to the extent that I do things for people at my own expense. Although being kind is a good thing, being kind in a way that is detrimental to myself is a not a good thing. I feel so much compassion for people who are in need in one way or the other but I am trying to limit it in such ways that it wouldn't have to be at the expense of my own well being.

These are the habits I think I have and should stop and I am working towards it. Thank you for reading and please, I will love to hear your opinion and really appreciate the upvotes. Thank you.

I believe the best way to avoid such is to train yourself in other for it not to be a daily routine especially the habit of procrastinating is not appropriate at all because the day you fail to meet up in a particular situation will definitely lead to regret. The habit of eating late as well is not advisable and I was told that eating late food wouldn't digest well when doing so.

Eating late at night really does have effect to the body especially having large tummy and besides, will make you feel uncomfortable sleeping at that moment. It´s good you are trying to adjust these bad habits. Thanks for sharing your post for the QOTW.

Yeah, the big tommy part is beginning to manifest already😂. I am working towards correcting it already.

Hello @abatoms I use to eat late at night because of the nature of my work but I found a solution which I would like to suggest for you and maybe it might work for you. Now I eat early, which is healthy, but I always work through the night. So I make sure to have vegetables washed and perhaps chopped neatly I bowl. Veggies like cucumber, carrots, or cabbage and with lots of water. It helps to kill your craving for food at night. I hope this helps.

Hmmm just like you've stated, I think it'll be better you quick work on overcoming procrastination, it's a disease, and when left for long could destroy many things and as well miss out on some.

One of the habit I will really love to stop is eating late into the night.

I think we both need to work on this, because I'm also a victim of such, and am thinking it's one of the reason why my Tommy is increasing, since the food couldn't digest well before going to bed.
