Well, yeah it's an App that works with a decentralized infrastructure.
Are they called App too? Because I am not familiar with which one is called App.

App stands for Application and DApp for Decentralized Application. Therefor all DApp are Apps by nature as well.
Sorry my autocorrect keyboard replace DApp with App automatically. 😓
