RE: How ZING could give Hive more value

I do think you're sitting on a potential winner here... for a lot of people, as well as for Hive. From what I have seen so far, it could be one of those that — like Splinterlands — has the potential to draw from outside our own borders of Hive.

I'm sidetracking a bit from your post, as well... sorry!

I don't know the details of the game's future at the functional level (and yes, I know actual gameplay is still down the road a bit), but one of the great strengths of Splinterlands was that it was — in essence — the first "gateway" to Hive where anybody, anywhere could get involved if they just had PayPal or a credit/debit card. Whereas I realize that is Web 2 style commerce, it seems to work because you're marketing and distributing a game and NFTs, not actual crypto. That people have to get a Hive account as part of the process... seems like a side effect.

for the gamers and collectors out there

Again, I hope you're casting your eyes far wider than just Hive here... thinking you might because of your dedication to developing POSH which seems to pull from both Web 2 and Web 3.

My other point here... I hope you plan to direct much of your efforts towards gameplay and directing the efforts (in terms of people's ROI) towards markets of the actual game NFTs. Get people from outside Hive to dump their fiat into buying "starter packs" (and whatever) that end up retaining and maximizing value in Hive.

In the meantime, though, it's exciting to watch this unfold!
