Holozing is truly a groundbreaking project to say the least as its curation account just blew past the three millionth mark! It's been a little over a week when Holozing reached 3 million HP and now it's around 3.3 million.
This truly amazes me as I thought some delegators would stop adding or would be removing some Hive power once the APR for HP delegation reaches below 100%.
So how big is Holozing's curation power now? It just surpassed Splinterland's own curation account, which is the biggest curation account that I am aware of in the Hive ecosystem right now. Splinterlands currently hold 2.8 million Hive power. There may be more curation accounts bigger than Holozing and Splinterlands that I am not aware of but I know for a fact that this is already a great feat to achieve.
So who are the top contributors to this enormous Hive power? I'm honestly surprised that Acidyo is not even in the top five of the list. I've known him from Wrestling Organization Online and has been a top contributor in there as well. In third place is Onealfa with 130,564 HP. Second is Tarazkp with 180,401. And finally in the first place with a whopping 213,782 HP delegation is Vcelier. These are some serious Hive whales and I'm glad that they chose to support this project. And although I'm not too familiar with the Hive communities outside of Splinterlands, I'm sure they are prominent members of the ecosystem and having them in the project solidifies the reputation of Holozing.
So what are the benefits of having this enormous curation power? One, this can be an additional direct source of daily revenue for the project. By having this account upvote its own post at 100%, the Hive it earns can then be used to compound its Hive power which can also be used as development funds as well.
Secondly, having this curation power will entice more content creators to do more Hive posts regarding the project. Even if you are upvoted at just 10% or 20% of the curation, it's already a significant achievement for individual accounts given the amount of Hive power it has. One of the best things that I like about Hive is that you can earn by just your effort in publishing your daily posts. And more people incentivized to blog about Holozing means free advertising for the project.

This will happen quite rarely, only when we want certain posts to have a bigger outreach will we be voting on our own posts which as you guessed it will go towards the development funds. Mostly we're just voting on hbd.funder comments at the moment for the curation returns and partly on posts in the community even though there's not that much to post about right now as there's not that much to do within the project.
