It's a Wrap for April!

Gardens everywhere are shaping up for new growing seasons, going great guns in southern climes, or just plain carrying on in places where the whole year is a growing season. It's lovely out there, wherever you are! The month of April has us teeming in growth and greenery pretty much all over the world, and our gardeners somehow also found the time to share their successes, and a few failures, in response to our monthly challenge. Thanks so much to everyone who entered. I enjoyed each of your posts. Thank you too for following the rules nearly perfectly!

The Wrap UP

@plantstoplanks and her fruit trees are off to a smashing spring start in her post Spring Has Sprung. It looks as if she'll be getting plums two years earlier than expected!

@actioncats finds that something is always learned in her report on this year's progress and plans.

@multifacetas shows off her family's green thumbs in her post Spring Garden. Both her brother in law and son have lovely gardens, and in this post, she shows us all three.

@deirdyweirdy joins us this month, with a peak under her dome. While Ireland suffers from far too much rain, her dome provides just-right conditions for a plethora of plants.

@fotostef has a lot of wonderful photos to show us in The Final Proof. Both at home and out in a park, all the photos are gorgeous.

@sunscape has an excellent source for compost. She got seven yards for fifty dollars!. She sure knows how to do it, and she does it all big.

@travoved shows off their lavishly blooming cactus in their post, and goes on to show spring bulbs, roses, and future plans.

@hindavi shares a bountiful harvest of mangoes with us this month. Who is not jealous? I know I am!

Lastly, @riverflows wows us, as always with Is your garden a prepper's garden? in which she discloses that she once regularly ate roadkill!

The Prizes

Prize Pool

Passionate Gardener Prize: 2 Hive

@deirdyweirdy won my heart for the passion prize. Her post showed successes and failures, with wit, wisdom and verve.

Awesome Presentation/Photos Prize: 2 Hive

This one will go to @plantstoplanks this month. Her photos are spiffy and her layout is enticing.

The Prepper's Prize 2 HIVE

For the second month, there will be no prize in this category, as the only prepper advice was from @riverflows, and she can't give a prize to herself!

Happy Gardening!

haha you are not on Tinder, I'm pretty sure. And if you wrote that, you would get no swipes, or whatever one does on Tinder. I do not know.

Do you think not? Is that not what every gentleman is looking for in a lady?:)

I don't care what the gents are looking for. I'm looking for a cowboy, which are in short supply due to the deliberate emasculation of all things male.

I thought you had a beau. Did you kick poor Sammy boy into touch?

Not yet. I'm so bad at ending relationships! He's a great man, almost a cowboy, but he's not my cowboy.
