RE: Greenhouse Weekly Update - by Sunscape

Nice! I bet the greens were delicious. I use osmocote time release for my flowers. For the veggies, I use phosphate, bone meal, powdered eggshells, horse manure, leaf compost, fish compost from Maine, fish emulsion, and some I can't think of at the moment. Now, I am having brainfog. lol

Do you mix the veggies amendments to a formula or a soil test? I use many of these also and have a formula for them.

I never test my soil. I just amend it every year with the compost. I add the eggshells for calcium and alfalfa pellets for nitrogen, and if a certain veggie needs extra, like the onions, I add what they need when I plant them. I use the fish emulsion every three weeks or so while they are growing. Everything thrives and this is the way I have done it for years.

Every thing does thrive, your gardens and plants are gorgeous!
