I had to start recognizing my identity lives outside of my path.
The person that God has created you to be, the person that God has called you to be, the person that God says that you are, it lives way outside of anything that you've done. You are so much more than that.
The Bible says we're more than conquerors.
Being a conqueror is more tied to our abilities, but our abilities are not who we are. When I hear we are more than a conqueror through Christ,
what I hear is we are more than what we're able to do.
I'm more than my accomplishments.
I'm more than my failures, and that is why God is proud of me. He is proud of me because he's proud of me, not what I could do.
He was proud of me because he created me, and I'm exactly what he wanted me to be. Yeah, I made my mistake. I fell short, but he loved me because of who he's created me to be and because I am in work.
Take yourself Out Of Guilt
You literally have to treat yourself as if you see the you that you desire to be in faith.
Treat yourself like you've overcome. Treat yourself with love, with grace, with kindness. Because that's the same love that God looks at you with. And he believes in you.
God still believes in you. He believes in you. He loves you. He knows you. He knows you better than you know yourself. He knows all that you're able to accomplish.
That greatness is in you. And he wants to bring it out of you. But you first have to believe it for yourself. But you'll never choose to follow him wholeheartedly. Because you'll always feel like that failure. Always feel like your path.
And Jesus is like, I came so that you could have life more abundantly. I won the victory so that you could win the victory.
And because I've made you in my image, you have the ability to win, to dominate. But we have to truly believe that that is a part of our DNA.
