Sky Mavis just dropped the mic with this month's Developer Update, officially confirmed what has been hinted for months: Axie Origin is being released at the end of March!!
...as long as it doesn't get delayed...
Still, it's exciting beyond words to imagine the newest iteration of the Axie universe. I have a weird feeling that Axie Origins will be a moment akin to the Hearthstone Beta launch, a moment where the community reaches a critical mass AND the game is ready to support that community.
Many Updates and LEEKS
There's more than just the release date in this post. The update goes over new information around the development of Project K, land play, and other future aspects of Axie's ecosystem.
We also learn that SLP minting has been successfully reduced to only 40% of its former amount (a 60% reduction) following the latest economic updates. This is amazing, finally bringing us much closer to a sustainable long-term economy for the digital nation of Lunacia.

Can't wait for Origin launch too and really pray they deliver on time or else...it's gonna be weird!
SLP minting has gone done but still there are many accounts who hold tons of SLP and are ready to dump them once we reach higher price levels so it's gonna be a tough journey price-wise. Good thing is that less minting means it won't happen again hehe!
