In the game of Axie Infinity, you have to always keep experimenting. The meta never sleeps and season 20 has been crazy volatile with team comps changing daily.
Deep In The Meta
I've been deep in experimenting with bugs and pocky builds, and we found another good one courtesy of Youtube community member Axie & Chill who loaned me this Shipwreck/Pocky combination fish that works as a solid backliner against other aquas.
I'm running it with a single bug build -- the Goliath Bug from about a week ago -- so, only getting a single Pocky buff. Even so it seems very strong, and I love the bug combo.
No Easy Wins
It seems like there are no easy wins in today's Axie Infinity arena. The game is hardcore now with every player trying super hard to get wins.
I have to count my energy, keep track of cards, and really focus if I want a chance to climb the ladder. Every match matters. Even with a great team, an expensive team, you will still need to truly focus and learn a little more each day if you want to compete at an intermediate level and beyond.
