Unless you have been living under a rock, then you probably already know that the STEEM vs HIVE war is not over. A couple of days ago Justin Sun decided to retaliate against the HIVE community for the successful fork by stealing 23.6 million STEEM from some of the biggest and most influential stakeholders that either platform have ever had. Essentially our decision to move and do something new has disgraced him and cost him money, so he has decided to retaliate the only way he knows how, which is by stealing from the people he holds responsible.
So why is this a "call to arms?" Last night CZ from Binance put out an announcement on his thoughts and plans regarding the STEEM hardfork 23.0 and the theft of investor's funds. To say his response is disappointing would be quite an understatement, but it is not entirely unexpected. He went on to make further statements to people like Andreas Antonopoulos that is "sad to see we are bringing up class action lawsuits and dragging in third parties that just process transactions."
This "call to arms" is in no way meant to incite violence. It is meant to incite a grassroots uprising that fights the false narrative that people like Justin Sun and CZ are trying to spin so that they can save face and to make the world know what really happened. The fact is, whether we are directly affected or not, they have colluded to overthrow the decentralized governance of a blockchain (STEEM) for their own profit and are now stealing funds from the investors of that blockchain and maintaining an avenue to liquidate those funds on unsuspecting potential new investors.
I propose that it is our social responsibility and duty to make sure that everyone that reads their propaganda on social media and hears their false narrative labeling people that have helped us build and grow this community for the last four years as criminals and hackers also hear our perspective. We have several people out there that have already been working towards this end, myself included, but I think it's time to show them how big this community really is and the full power of our reach.
If you still have traditional social media accounts, such as Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or wherever else these snakes are spreading their lies, it's time to find them and make sure that every piece of communication they try to put out spinning the narrative is flooded with the truth. If you don't have accounts, please consider making one and joining the resistance. Don't let up until they are either in jail, financially ruined to the point of irrelevance, or pitchforked out of the crypto community for good. Call them out every chance you get and make sure that anyone that follows them knows they fucked with the wrong community. Much love to all of you and much wrath to those that aim to do us harm.

It just doesn't make sense, he could have just as easily given himself 10x more STEEM.
He wants to stop the sell pressure so he can pump and dump his new shitcoin and turn it into a tron "dapp."
The initial freeze was a "negotiation tactic" to force airdropping the sct crowd some HIVE. This freeze was completed by copying and pasting code that was used to freeze the Steemit inc stake
That plan didn't work out, so they moved to giving themselves an airdrop. Any sane person would just issue some inflation on one block and dole it out.... but they don't have the code for that. Instead, they copy and pasted from the Hive hf23 the snippet that reallocates balances and used that in place on steem to move the funds.... but not to the dao.... they don't have code for airdropping from the dao
After moving the funds to a "community account", they were working on what kind of appearance to make it seem like they were considering giving it back before handing it out as the missing airdrop. They can do that because there are lots of distribution scripts around steem they can use to copy code

I am not a fan of violence, but it's not very smart to have your private info out there when stealing millions of dollars. This is definitely the kind of shit people go to jail over.
If there is no judicial relief, they will eventually piss off the wrong person who are violent vigilantes. They seek our destruction knowing we have a right to defend themselves, so they ultimately choose their own destruction. Anyways, they are inviting the police to their door steps, which far too often is fatal. Jail is already very deadly, more so with this corona. 6 million dollar heist? no way the witnesses are getting a bond.
Now that identity and proximity has been established, it is only a matter of time that civil service can be performed by private parties other than the government. We know where he works, where he has accounts, a proximity of where he lives, where he shops (tesco), governments will have tax and other records. And with the corona lock down, I doubt he can leave the country. Looks like he had to stop marketing his tutoring gigs.
When the s___ hits the fan for them and they are all being prosecuted, it will be interesting to see how long Justin sun will keep playing ignorant and throwing them under the bus. Someone will take a plea deal and sink justin sun and the others to try to save their own hide.

Like PT Barnum said, there's a sucker born every minute. I'd argue that those who purchase Steem at this point to hold or power up are absolutely mental, but also suckers. To be fair the stock market is full of these "sucker purchases" all the time, and you're never going to run out of gullible investors with money to burn.
From the get go I've argued that Steem is a monkey trap, and as long as there are people who can't let go of it, they continue to give it value and help Sun.
Agreed, can't save people from their own stupidity and greed, but we can try to make sure as many people that are willing to listen know what's going on.

If you need me to show you, I can show exactly where on the steem blockchain the Tron Foundation via dev365 removed millions of existing tokens while violating steem consensus by having only 5 witnesses in the top 20 (the remaining 15 were sock puppets)
