Cromwell Valley Park ~ Scenery in Sepia

All of my photos today were taken at Cromwell Valley Park in Baltimore County, Maryland. You may have seen a few in color from previous posts but you will also be seeing some new ones in sepia first like this cute little critter here!

But let's start at the beginning where I spotted this bird perched on a stick way out in a field. I tried to get some good photos but my hand was way too shaky and they all came out quite blurry. Just for the heck of it, I tried to see how it would look in sepia and I'm pretty happy with how it looks.

The bird out in the field was the first capture from my visit and this Monarch butterfly was my second.

I took the previous two photos before I even entered the park path.

This is probably my favorite plant photo that I took that day. I just loved the way the sunlight was hitting the Chicory flower!

There are several bird feeders throughout the park and it was nice to see the birds and the squirrels by them. The squirrel in my first photo of this post was just underneath of a feeder as were these two. I can't be sure that it is the same squirrel as there were two of them there so I can only be 50% certain that it is...lol!

Up ahead is one of the old barns on the property. I've shown this barn before but this photo shows a little more of the area in the back of the barn.

This is also where I spotted that Red-spotted Purple butterfly!

I only have two more photos to show you and this is one of them. It is a lovely spot in the park known as the Hawk Watch. It is a nice spot to sit and do some bird watching and take a little rest....

...and maybe get one last photo of that cute little critter that I started my post with! 💖
