So I stumble into
Not the admission but
The fascination I have with
You
Oh, say it isn't so
That feeling of wanting
Never letting go? I say
It must be that spring is in the air
Giving way to the distraction
Words leaving on my lips
Unchecked

My day was filled with beauty, wonderful company, and a feast for the eyes, to the tune of nature. There were little violets, all over the edge of the forest, their sunny dispositions calling me by name.

I love the floor of the forest. I went for a walk-through, admiring how quickly everything is leafing out. Lichen and mushrooms and all sorts of interesting things. I like the moss on the log. Nature gets more interesting the closer we get, the smaller the slices. It truly is a fractal system.

The beauty of nature, ever-changing...It is like having an unfinished symphony inside our hearts. Every moment inspired by the beauty of nature completes another bar of the music. The magnificence of the Magnolia is all those opulent blooms until the leaves push the flowers off, whereas, the tree turns green, once again.

It has been a beautiful Sunday, from beginning to end. I want to thank @Ace108 for hosting #BeautifulSunday, a tag where you share your Sunday with everyone. Not to be outdone by #SublimeSunday by @c0ff33a, where any random post will do. He loves eclectic and I love my @c0ff33a.

I sit and let my thoughts wander, my glass of wine, swirling, swirling, to unleash its flavor. I inhale deeply and take in my night. The beauty of my day unfolds in my mind once more, the sweet sounds of the children talking, their voices sing-song as they walk through the neighborhood. So easily I get swept up in the peace of the moment- the sights, the sounds of the laughter, the smell of the sweetest perfume, each flower so individual. It makes the day special, creating an enchanting moment. I yearn to press the pause button. Stop. Reflect. Maybe even rewind. It has indeed been a #SublimeSunday.

All I have are my words, armed in my mind, written in pen, stand by stand. Oh, yes. Still by hand. It has a different feel. Altered not by keys, backspace, and delete, I write, erase, tear it to pieces and start all over again. And again.

It’s my way. I walk out to the deep end of the page and dive right in.
