RE: Welcome to the Word of the Week!

Lol, no. It means double entry. I think I confused a lot of people with two things:

  • Embedding WOTW rules within poorly written stories
  • Extending the contest to two weeks versus one.

As a result, people entered more than one article. I used DE (Double Entry) to differentiate between those who submitted the extra article and those who didn't use all the selected words. We'll keep to the one week'ish schedule moving forward.

I didn't have the heart to disqualify someone who wrote the extra article. We evaluated their articles and curated them like we would any other.

It was a tough couple weeks for a lot of people. Thanks for having a heart. My double entry was scored pretty high. I know I am a winner inside and everyone who enters the pob-wotw challenge is a winner in many ways.

Congratulations to all and special thanks to Nonso and Scholaris to keep this initiative going.

I can only imagine the difficulties some people face. I'll always have a heart. I think you're the reigning king of the contest. I don't know that we've seen you go outside of your comfort zone yet, though. You're like a big kahuna in our little contest pond. Your presence in the contest pushes people forward. I'm not sure you're aware of that observation.

We all spur each other on. We are pioneers and all we can do is carry on. You are right about "out of the comfort zone". I'm with it but I have other priorities.Last week I thought the challenge was to write "Your Story" and I was challenged. Later I found that wasn't the word at all^^ ... And this week's challenge actually begins now.

No no. This week marks the start of season 4. The work of the week is happy. Also, I will no longer extend the contest to two weeks. Finally, I will no longer imbed the contest rules within stories. Some people understood the rules, others did not and I needed to fix that issue.

I see,

These simple words are more challenging.

Feel free to keep your stories on another post and link to the contest rules at the bottom.

Don't share this with anyone (lol), but this season focuses on short, quick, and powerful words. The challenge round at the end of this season seeks to exploit the vicissim of their essence.

Sounds good ; )

Looking brighter

A nice twist 😂👍

I kept checking it there are new words, I just had to keep calm since I didn’t get any instructions to rewrite or new words to write from

The word for this week is happy. Also, don't write about the Hive blockchain in your article, this includes POB.

Please make sure you check the rules for this week! And, congratulations! I never forgot that first story you wrote for the contest. I made it a habit to apply your lessons since then with my children.

I feel honored, thank you 😊
