The 100% unsugarcoated truth is they have fucked me on my yearly author award twice with their shitty software that can't process a video in under 8 hours. Im still mad about it. I hear you on that! 11% off the top is ridiculous because they have made absolutely no updates or changes. The platform sucks. And on top of it, the guys behind 3Speak are absolute dicks and come out and attack you for being "anti-hive" if you don't agree with them or try to call them out on their shit. So yeah, I would rather go unmonetized on YouTube or hell, even Instagram and get way more engagement than the 2 people that may see it here.
11% is to help pay for video storage, it isn't free to store video in the cloud. At least hive have a video platform, without funding it would be impossible to have one. Fyi they are actually operating with a loss even with 11%, they are taking from their pockets to keep it running.
Hey logical Dick, I'm 300k in the red on 3Speak. I pay for the fact it didn't work and I'm more pissed than anyone. I also pay to get to listen to ppl like u complain about anything that moves. Once u cough up about 50k to support this open source project, pls do give ur useless shitty opinions and contributions. Until then shut the fuck up

they recently fixed most problems and videos are encoding pretty fast now

yes, they got to at least cover part of their costs to maintain it. they are operating at loss right now even with the beneficiaries
Well that sucks. I want them to do good.. we need something like that on HIVE.. but it has to be reliable.. I can't stay watching the wheels spin for long. I have a short attention span..
encoding is a lot faster now, 3spk has been a lot more reliable lately. a lot of work was done in the last months
3 speak never worked for me, I gave up a long time ago
I want something to work for videos.. we had Dlive which I used.. and enjoyed.. and supported.. until they fucked us.. then there was Dtube.. way to complicated.. 3speak works. Just not all the time.
