RE: Beautiful Sunday in the Garden - by Sunscape

Either you have a large fenced-in yard, or you don't have any deer in your area, or everything you plant is deer-proof. I know they won't eat foxgloves or iris, but what about everything else? Every time I see a lovely flower or bush I'd like to plant, I have to ask myself (and an expert), "Will the deer eat it?"

Sort:

There are 7 deer that are regular visitors and growing every year with the new fawns. They really are not a huge problem, but at times in early spring they chomp down a lot of plants. I do have netting around my vegetable gardens that is 6' high to keep them out of there, but the flowers they leave pretty much alone. They do like to eat all my blackberries though, naughty deer. I wish you good luck with choosing your plants and hopefully they will leave them alone. ♥
