It is a pity that they have taken that decision, I suppose they are not yet prepared in the mentality to take that step. I trust that soon they make a big mistake, prohibiting it is a great delay. Hopefully, with adequate regulation, they start other ideas, a better way of thinking.
In Brazil being the largest country in this continent, I think it is very important that this type of technologies are taken into account. Telephones should not be baned, but correctly educate people in their use and abuse, and implement new educational forms.
I still have some hope that they change their thinking, we need it if we want to step forward as a species.
I don't think it's possible to reverse this situation. At least not in the short term. In my view, we will be stagnant for a period of time that will make us fall behind countries that attempt a revolution through digital education.
That is one of the main obstacles. While other nations are advancing, those that do not decide to incorporate or adapt are left behind, losing positions worldwide.
