The legend of its origin ....

There lived two brothers Pavle and Radun, landowners who also had a sister Jelica. They loved and respected her a lot. When they got married, Pavle's wife was jealous of the attention that Pavle paid to his sister.
She tried in every way to keep her away from her brothers ... first she killed Pavle's horse when he loved her a lot ... And when the brothers didn't believe that Jelica did it ... then she killed the falcon and accused Jelica .... But they She believed her sister that she hadn't done that ... When Pavle's wife saw that she believed her sister, she was determined to commit a crime ...
And then she started crying and calling for her husband ... When the brothers saw the bloody knife under the pillow, they believed Pavle's wife and tied Jelica to the tails of four horses and tore her apart ....
Where the body fell, the monastery of Zaova was built, where the beard fell, the monastery of Bradača was built ,where the hands fell,the monastery of Rukumija was built, where the eyes fell,the monastery of Sestroljin was built, where the visually impaired are treated.

Jelica's whispers and tears spread through the forest ... From them became two sources of healing water, Šopot and Suzine ...
And wherever Jelica's blood fell, mercy and basil grew.

The message and warning from the title of the song God does not remain indebted to anyone is being fulfilled ...
Pavlovica (Pavlov's wife, whom the people called) suffered from an incurable disease for nine years, repented, but could not die ... Then she admitted to her husband that she had killed their child ...

Where the body fell, there was an abyss that was filled with water and that is how Lake Zaovac was formed ... And where the blood fell, thorns and nettles grew ...

Legend also says that on the day of St. Elijah, shadows of horses, cradles and falcons appear on the lake.

The legend was told to us by the priest, and then my sister and I walked to the lake and back to the monastery. Then we visited those two healing springs.The road led through a beautiful forest ...

The brothers atoned for their sins in front of King Lazarus, who ordered them to build the church of Zao.
In return, they went with him to the battle in Kosovo and there they joined their sister in heaven ...

There is a small fountain with a swan (as an ornament) ..

The ancient monastery and everything around it is beautifully decorated and decorated ....

There is also a shelter with benches for guests, to shelter from the sun or rain and a little rest ...

A small door was made here, which is leaning against a tree and it is as if a dwarf will come out of it at any moment ..

This is the first source of healing water near the monastery, and it is believed to cure skin diseases...

The other is some two hundred meters in the woods ....

It descends to another spring by stairs ... And a very small spring, in fact water leaks from the rock ..
