SPRING CHALLENGE: A Sunny Spring Day, Reconsidered

So, I found out that one of my photos last week was at least as popular as the art I made ... several people loved this photo ...

... but I also had this one with it that I was considering ... the hollyhock budding out of itself under the half embrace of the willow trees...

... so for my second and last spring challenge entry I stood back and thought about that and the whole day ... first the energy of blue of the sky, but also of spring's other big blue ... Alamo Square Park also has mountains of Monarda blooms ... the bees were LOVING all this bee balm!

... also the gold of the sunshine, and also of the amazing spring foliage I have been seeing in San Francisco's Oak Woodlands ...

So: I wanted to get the sense of the energy of the sky, the abundance of the Monarda blooms, some of the color of the hollyhock, the bright gold of sunshine and the live oak, and the beauty of the willow tree ... and how much I love all these things of spring ... so I had to go to Apophysis 2.09 and get what I needed ... as it happens, white and pale pastels is the hardest color to create in my fractal program, so I opted to take the purple of the hollyhock as a highlight and came away with three fractals ... the first two are the same fractal but in different colors and framed differently ... one got the center portion framed as a square, the second still framed as a rectangle ...

... and then, I needed the willow tree, and instead of putting everything inside of it, I chose to nest it in the blue, embracing the representative of both the flower and the sunshine also nested in the blue.

The glory of spring, and its Creator ... I am forever marveling as the seasons roll by at the artistry of God Himself ... I do the best I can, made in His image as a creator of art, to express my joy in His work in my own, and adorn His glory!

Thank you so much for the share!

Greetings @deeanndmathews ,

You have yourself a lovely art expression of the Season of Spring here!

....And credit to our Creator.....Lovely!

Kind Regards,

Bleujay

Thank you ... always gotta give credit where credit is due when it all comes directly from Him ... I did not make any of the elements that inspired my work ... and He does fractal art on a level I am still just beginning to mathematically understand ... the math of flowers and willow trees EXISTS, and sometimes I can find it in Apophysis 2.09!

Such pretty flowers, I love spring. The Bay area is beautiful in spring time for sure. Now the art is just plain awesome, very well done. Fractals can be really cool!

Thank you so much ... spring here is a season of great glory indeed ... I try to capture what I can in the art, too -- fractals are my great love!

Lovely purple colors in this fractal design that exudes richness. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

Thank you so much ... that's what I thought ... that hollyhock purple really added everything.

Fantastic Deeann!

Thank you so much -- I set myself a true spring challenge on this one and it came out better than I expected!

That's wonderful, what program did you use to make it?

The fractals I made in Apophysis 2.09, which I believe is still free along with the upgrade, Apophysis 7.0 -- but 7.0 takes a lot of computer resources, so I've stayed with 2.09!

After that, I just layered the fractals together in their different scales and sizes in Paint 3D!
