Mathew knew that marriage hasn’t always been perfect, but he believed there was love in it and decides to trust Rachel with all he got because love can make you believe things that are real and things are not real.
Rachel started behaving suspiciously ever since they got into a fight, he started noticing late night calls, coming home late and drunk but he chose to ignore because he felt it was just a rough phase or stage in their marriage and believed she would eventually come around.
One day, he had to confront her concerning her irrational behavior but she wouldn’t listen to him, he decided to take action by installing a security system that automatically locks the gate by midnight to prevent anyone coming in or going out.
Little did he know that he married a crafty cheater, she found a way of going out late by using a ladder every night. When Mathew caught her on their CCTV, he was perplexed and furious not because she was scaling the fence to go out but because of the danger she was putting herself to do it.
Mathew was the calm and emotional headed guy and with that his wife Rachel has always seen him as the soft dude who can’t take action but little did she know that Mathew was going to be tough that night.
As usual she set up the ladder and scaled the fence, but when she came back there was no ladder for her to get back in with, she tried calling Mathew to let her in but he ignored because that was a way of punishing her and by morning what she met with her outside the gate was her boxes of clothes because he was done.
You see this marriage thing, its not by force. Why marry someone whom you don't love? What is the essence of it? Then at the end of the day, you go ahead and cheat. That's nonsense
