I just moved up north
It's dark as fuck
Fog is roaming the woods like an army of ghosts
By the break of dawn they will have surrounded my hut

Just chopping wood
Placing the log
Standing with legs apart
Being one with the ax
Aiming for the center
Becoming the ax
Swinging it with vengeance
Placing the log
And in between
Silence
Just ice water dripping from the roof
Rustling frozen leaves
A lonesome bird singing his song
I must be the luckiest man alive
