A cat that looks at me very attentively

La tristeza profunda subyace
Su dueño ha muerto, ha partido
No hay mucho que decir, se ha ido
El pesar del gato es palpable.
Deep sadness underlies
Its owner is dead, he is gone.
There's not much to say, he's gone
The cat's sorrow is palpable.
Yo acaricio al felino sin cesar
Cuando me canso me pongo a reflexionar
Es como si todo hubiese sido un gran malestar
En instantes que nadie quiere rememorar.
I caress the feline without ceasing
When I get tired I start to reflect
It's like everything has been a big discomfort
In moments that no one wants to remember.

Nadie en la familia entiende lo sucedido
Un ser querido que se ha ido y todos lo lamentamos profundamente.
Pero quedan en los gratos recuerdos de momentos pasados.
Miles de fotografías quedarán en nuestra memoria.
Nobody in the family understands what happened.
A loved one who is gone and we all deeply regret it
But left in the pleasant memories of past moments.
Thousands of photos will remain in our memories.
El dolor es interno, no lloro.
Al principio no entendí mi sufrimiento.
Llevé mi dolor dentro
Y me apretó el pecho con fuerza.
The pain is internal, I do not cry
At first I did not understand my suffering
I carried my pain inside
And it squeezed my chest hard.

Firmemente ahora entiendo mi sentir
Entiendo que el dolor no es solo llorar
También es sufrir callado el dolor inconsciente
De un alma noble que se ha ido al más allá.
Firmly now I understand my feeling
I understand that pain is not just crying

No sé si hay suficientes palabras para expresar
Todo el dolor que siente toda la familia.
Un ser especial se fue, partió prematuramente
Toda su querida familia y su querido gato fueron testigos.
