There was a trip and I fell
Pain consumed me and I fell asleep
Sorrows dazed me and I indulged it
When my mind was plunged in the veil, I allowed it
But in my mind's reaction I awoke.
The dazzling desire that touches me
The silvery light of the moon that doesn't move
At the winter equinox a strange noise
A moment happens that makes the past disappear
A color that cannot be distinguished is perceived in the distance.
What is not written in the heart
Comes from the factory in the emotion
That drives actions of discordant passion
Fibrillating and exhuming reasons that flicker certainties
Deepening wounds that scarred but still hurt.
Mystery that becomes more mysterious
A noise that seems to have color
There's a taste that seems to ring and rumble in the air
You try to contain your primal instincts
You calm your reaction and act with conviction.
It almost seems like yesterday that you persisted
In an attempt at passion that turned absurd
A pain that still scars among the thorns
The heart has not healed, but it has learned
What my purest consolation tells it in its ear.
I am petrified and stunned.
As much as I think about it my mind does not see it
A sphere that ignores hidden reasons
Of beings who will never comprehend the obvious truths
In times that reveal ancestral mysteries.
I see and understand everything instantly
Clouds spread over the prairie
But they will not be able to obscure what is so clear
They cannot block the rays of a sun so magnificent
The destiny of the great is written in immortal stone.
