I will start this post today with a great quote from Osho Rajnnesh:
We've all experienced moments when we felt like we'd "come home" - relaxed, grounded, free of all the turmoil that characterizes most of our daily lives. Those moments can occur in nature or in the depths of some activity we enjoy, alone or in the company of people we love. They show us that we are exactly where we should be.
Yesterday I wrote about a trip to the mountains, and today my friends, my daughter and I were on the beautiful Karaš river, which is located not far from our city (about 15 kilometers), where we spent an unforgettable afternoon! Beautiful green meadows, waterfalls, zoo, outdoor gym and beautiful sunset!
Even if you come in the middle of summer, the river is literally freezing, especially now in early autumn. We didn't bathe, but we absorbed this gift of nature. This picnic spot is reached via the old bridge and you descend to the green meadows listening to the huge rustle of the waterfall. We stayed there the most. The atmosphere is fantastic. Teka is surrounded by reeds, grass, water lilies, old trees, and nearby there was an old mill where a film about the suffering of Jews during the Second World War was almost filmed. This building served as a concentration camp. She was a little creepy, but that is also part of history.
However, we turned to the brighter side of life. Today is our day! We used every corner to relax, exercise and play with our beautiful dog who was constantly sniffing and digging. 😄🐕
We noticed that there was a zoo nearby, so we took the opportunity to visit it. The garden was separated by a wooden fence into several parts where there were different animals. First we came across a box with a rabbit, chickens (Japanese silkies) and American turkeys.
Hodajući izmedju ograda, došli smo i do konja. Mali i debeli! Naravno i jedan selfi! 🐎☝️
Walking between the fences, we came to the horses. Small and fat! 😄 I noticed that they couldn't reach the hay, so my daughter and I came to help. Of course, a selfie! 🐎☝️
All this wouldn't be so unusual until we found out that it was all made by one man! We were in shock. While we were visiting the zoo, the owner of the zoo came and told us his touching story. He offered projects to build an eco-camp, but no one wanted to help him. He proved that one man can do it all by himself! 👏
He delighted and inspired us all. he inspired us to do the same, be noble and invest in a more beautiful part of the world. We said our goodbyes and left with recharged batteries and the desire to return again. . .
Pozdrav od Anke vragolanke.
