Yeah that's what I'm thinking as well but I don't know what it's supposed to mean. Actually wait, I'll look it up...

According to Wikipedia

Poena cullei (from Latin 'penalty of the sack')[1] under Roman law was a type of death penalty imposed on a subject who had been found guilty of patricide. The punishment consisted of being sewn up in a leather sack, with an assortment of live animals including a dog, snake, monkey, and a chicken or rooster, and then being thrown into water.

It doesn't seem to explain what the meaning is or why it would be insulting though

Maybe it's just to entertain you as the water rolls in? Lol

No idea really, probably an insult. They loved insults in these times when killing you

Haha yeah. Imagine the mind games of it. Everybody afterwards trying to figure out the meaning and symbology of it all. Now adays they just cut off your balls and put them in your mouth after they kill you. Where's the imagination? Where's the mystery?

The romance same show off killing has been taken away!

Now if they cut off a dog's balls and put them in your mouth and killed you it might be alright different 🤣🤣

🤣🤣🤣
