🥇 The Great Buddha In The Temple In Aomori And How It Turned To Be A Memorably Funny Day by @wittyzell

Our first stop was the Seiryu-ji Temple where we would also be seeing the Great Buddha of Aomori. Going to the temple by commute might be a little difficult because of the snow and the traffic. We're not from this city and not so familiar with it so we booked an uber taxi to go there. The 3 of us (my 2 friends and I) were making ourselves fit in the back seat. We didn’t know an adventure would await us that would become a memorably funny memory. Is it the temple? The Buddha? Or something else?

🥈 Chantilly Castle Round Two by @leaky20

I've been to Chantilly Castle many times and have written about it on Hive in the past. It was close to my home in France when we were living there so naturally we went to see it many times during our three year expat. Being so close to us also made it the perfect place to bring visitors that were staying with us, like my sister who came to see us in the summer of 2022.

🥉 🗺 Puerto Escondido – Visiting an amazing Beach Club and liberating Baby Sea Turtles [EN/DE] by @travelshots

"Villasol" is the name of the beach club that caught my attention after watching some YouTube videos. It is located on the slightly secluded Bacocho Beach. Our cab ride over sandy dirt roads made us a bit skeptical, but when we arrived and spotted the pool shining turquoise blue against a backdrop of numerous palm trees, just steps from the sea, we were immediately sure we would enjoy our day here.

Loch is a Scottish/Gaelic for lake or sea inlet, right? Plus, it's not a title. It's a category of the place you featured, may it be a lake, a sea, or any landmark. The next part is where it's located. And based on the map, that lake or shall I say "Loch Leven" is located in Kinross, Scotland. Last time I checked, I've read the map correctly. Unless, you pinned it wrong?

Hi @ybanezkim26 you are correct that Kinross is close by the Loch but for accurate coordinates and seo purposes for people searching for Loch Leven they would search for Loch Leven so the title is very important.

I typed in Loch Leven United Kingdom in the field provided and assumed it would be attached to the map accordingly?

I wasn't aware that pinmapple generated titles? Is this correct?

Again, that's not a title. It's a category and location of the landmark. Pinmapple doesn't care about SEO, as far as I am concerned. I know that's what you pinned in the map because I check all maps of those posts pinned in pinmapple. The nearest town is Kinross based on your pin. And I searched about Loch Leven and it even stated that Loch Leven is located in Kinross, Scotland.

Thanks for the clarification on categorizing land marks.

Pinmapple doesn't care about SEO, as far as I am concerned.

I'm surprised to hear that pinmapple isn't interested in SEO?

How will people find these post outside of the hive ecosystem?

It's not pinmapple's job to advertise individual posts outside of Hive. It's on the authors themselves if they want to be known outside of Hive. Hence, SEO is an individual's prerogative. Pinmapple's Travel Digest is intended for the Hive audience. It has remained that way for a long time and there was no mandate to change how we approach things.
