🥇 Canadian Rockies: Columbia Ice Fields, go with the flow by @ladyrainbow

I have been meaning to give this place a post of it's own, normally treated as a pit-stop for a few hours on a gorgeous but long scenic route that links Banff and Jasper National Park together, the world famous Icefield Parkway, named after this special landmark. National Geographic has named it one of the most beautiful highways in the world. I never get tired of it, looks different every time as the landscape changes slowly over the years. I know I keep meaning to post about the drive too, the Rockies have many treasures to share, one at a time.

🥈 Passing through Torrita di Siena, I stumbled upon a surprise! by @silviared945

Today I want to share some photos I took in a place that I believe I already shared here back in November, a place that has garnered quite a bit of success on the blog, which undoubtedly pleased me greatly. I'm talking about Torrita di Siena, a beautiful municipality located in the province of Siena with a population of just under 7,000 inhabitants. But this time during my exploration, always on foot through the streets of the village, I was very lucky because I happened to be there during the "palio di somari," a donkey race that takes place from March 16th to March 24th every year. It's a big celebration that attracts people not only from all over Italy but also from around the world, and we can somewhat compare it to the more famous Palio di Siena, except in this case, donkeys are used instead of horses.

🥉 Strange Noises in Graz Austria by @leaky20

Our trip in Austria was coming to an end and we needed to make our way back to the Vienna airport to fly back home. We basically did an entire loop around the country during our week long stay and were on the last leg of the trip, making our way back to where we came from. It's always sad when a trip ends, but luckily for us, we still had one more stop to make on the way. The city of Graz would be our last destination in Austria. It was 3 hours from Bad Gastein, where we were coming from, and 2 hours from Vienna so it was a good location to bridge the gap between the two cities. We stayed there one night before heading back to the airport.
