That looks like a great place to have a picnic. Being from Canada with a lot of Filipino friends, it surprised me to learn that people in the Philippines avoid the sun to avoid a suntan. In Canada, everybody does the opposite. They seek out the sun to get a suntan. It is fascinating how cultures can differ. Maybe it is because over there there is so much sun and over here we have seasons of limited sun.
Hello there! I appreciate you leaving a comment on my post. I actually love the sun! It's just that, beyond 10am, it can really be harsh and could greatly affect your skin health. That's one reason we avoid the sun, especially at noon time. But I'd agree with you that maybe why most Filipinos avoid the sun is because we've already experienced so much of it in our whole lives 😅
