Buenas tardes mi querida comunidad de Hive, el día de hoy les vengo hablar acerca de mi experiencia visitando el Parque Zoológico Chorros de Milla, este zoológico se encuentra en la parroquia Milla, ciudad de Mérida, Estado Mérida, fue fundado en 1953 y desde entonces se encarga de Cuidado y la Exhibición de diferentes tipos de animales que van desde grandes felinos, reptiles, monos y algunas aves entre otros. Actualmente el zoológico se encuentra pasando por una renovación y recuperando espacios, pude ver una gran diferencia en comparación con la última vez que fui y a pesar de que hay algunas áreas que aún se encuentra en no tan buenas condiciones se nota que están haciendo un esfuerzo por recuperar su antiguo esplendor.

Está visita al zoológico fue bastante especial para nosotros dado que no solamente estábamos visitando a mi hermana pequeña después de algún tiempo de no haberla visto; dado que se encuentra estudiando en la ciudad; sino que también fue la primera vez de mi hija visitando el zoológico y viendo algunos animales que solamente había visto por la pantalla, ella como todo niño pequeño se emocionó bastante con algunos y también se asustó con otros. Sin embargo a pesar de que se asustó con algunos eso no impidió que disfrutara de su del paseo y de los animales que allí se exhiben.

Llegar al zoológico es muy fácil solamente es necesario tomar un autobús en el centro de la ciudad que diga Chorros de Milla y este te dejara en toda la entrada del zoológico, este labora de martes a domingo en el horario de 9 de la mañana a 5 de la tarde y para poder ingresar se debe pagar una pequeña entrada siendo el costo de $1 por niño y $2 por adulto, los niños menores de 5 años no cancelan entrada. Nosotros tuvimos la suerte de que en el momento que fuimos había un grupo de niños Boy Scout de paseo, así que pudimos disfrutar también de un guía que nos fue pasando por los distintos tipos animales y contándonos un poco acerca de ellos.

Entre los animales que más le fascinaron a mi pequeña hija de 3 años fueron el León, el Oso y las Serpientes, el que más le dio miedo lamentablemente fue el Cóndor Andino dado que hubo un momento mientras estábamos visitandolo que hizo un pequeño planeó hacia el piso y dado su enorme tamaño mi niña se asustó y luego le tenía miedo a todas las aves, sin embargo logramos que se enamorara poco de Los Tucanes y ella siempre a sentido fascinación por los patos así que estuvo muy feliz de verlos caminar libremente por el Zoológico. Una de las atracciones más interesantes del zoológico es la cascada sin embargo esta vez no pudimos visitarlas dado que por unos temblores que hubieron se encuentra clausurada hasta nuevo aviso. Otra de las cosas que ofrece el zoológico para el entretenimiento de público son actividades como por ejemplo el Canopy, qué consiste en deslizarse por el aire mediante algunos cables previamente colocados; también se puede practicar el canyoning o barranquismo que básicamente consiste en un descenso a través de barranco ya sé ya sea secos o en las laderas de las cascadas, y por último también ofrecen escalada de pared, para esto obviamente seras acompañado de profesionales que te ayudarán en cada momento de la actividad que escojas.

Ya por último me gustaría agregar que el zoológico recibe donaciones y también tiene la opción de apadrinar algunos animales ya sea por un día por una semana por un mes e incluso por un año solamente debes contactarte con el zoológico y reciben desde donaciones en efectivo o cosas como por ejemplo la alimentación es o medicinas solo debes contactarte con el zoológico escoger el animal de tu preferencia y escoger De qué forma deseas apadrinar a dicho animal. Visiting the Chorros de Milla Zoological Park

Good afternoon my dear community of Hive, today I come to talk about my experience visiting the Chorros de Milla Zoo, this zoo is located in Merida city, Merida State was founded in 1953, and since then is responsible for the care and exhibition of different types of animals ranging from big cats, reptiles, monkeys and some birds among others. Currently, the zoo is undergoing renovation and recovering spaces, I could see a big difference compared to the last time I went, and although some areas are still in the not-so-good condition you can see that they are making an effort to regain their former splendor.

This visit to the zoo was quite special for us since we were not only visiting my little sister after some time of not having seen her; since she is studying in the city; but it was also my daughter's first time visiting the zoo and seeing some animals that she had only seen on the screen, she as every little child was quite excited with some and also scared with others. However, even though she was scared of some of them, that didn't stop her from enjoying the ride and the animals exhibited there.

Getting to the zoo is very easy, you only need to take a bus in the center of the city that says Chorros de Milla and it will leave you at the entrance of the zoo, it works from Tuesday to Sunday from 9 in the morning to 5 in the afternoon and to enter you must pay a small entrance fee of $1 per child and $2 per adult, children under 5 years old do not have to pay an entrance fee. Among the animals that fascinated my 3-year-old daughter the most were the Lion, the Bear, and the Snakes, the one that scared her the most unfortunate was the Andean Condor since there was a moment while we were visiting it that made a small glide to the ground and given its enormous size my little girl was scared and then she was afraid of all the birds, however, we managed to make her fall in love with the Toucans and she has always been fascinated by the ducks so she was very happy to see them walking freely through the Zoo. One of the most interesting attractions of the zoo is the waterfall, however this time we were not able to visit it due to some tremors that occurred and it is closed until further notice. Another of the things that the zoo offers for the entertainment of the public is activities such as a Canopy, which consists of sliding through the air using some previously placed cables; you can also practice canyoning or canyoning which consists of descent through a ravine either dry or on the slopes of the waterfalls, and finally, they also offer wall climbing, for this you will be accompanied by professionals who will help you at every moment of the activity you choose.
